Rates for the rental of Power Banks
As a casual user, the hourly rates for power bank rental start from AUD 2. These rates may differ from one station to another.
Users can purchase upfront prepaid rates from AUD 1 and enjoy more than 50% savings.
At midnight every day, non-returned power banks are charged accordingly. The daily max charge for use of our services is AUD 30. When the battery is returned the next morning (e.g. at 10 am), the user is charged from the opening hours (e.g. from 9 am). Based on that, one hour is charged in this example.
Pre Auth (Pre Authorisation)
We take a nominal pre-authorisation of AUD 25 as a security bond. This amount is held by the bank, not by us. When the battery is returned, the hold is released.
Broken device
If the battery does not eject or the cable is broken, please take a photo and submit it via the feedback form. Your payment will be refunded once processed.
Lost or purchase of power bank
Users have the option to purchase the power bank for AUD 50 after 24 hours of non-returned battery.
Why can't I log in via Kakao, WeChat or Facebook Messenger?
For security, Google and Apple sign-in only allows login via Safari, Chrome or Samsung Browser.
Renting and returning
Do I have to return the power bank to the same station where I hired it?
No. You can return the power bank to any Sinergi station. Use the map on our app or website to find the nearest station with available slots.
How do I rent a power bank?
Open the Sinergi app, scan the QR code on the station (or select the station on the map), then follow the prompts to pay via card or supported mobile wallet (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay, WeChat Pay, Alipay). Once payment is approved, the power bank unlocks.
How do I return the power bank?
Slot the power bank into any empty port at any Sinergi station. The station screen or app will confirm when the rental has ended.
Using the power bank
What devices can I charge?
Our power banks include cables for Lightning (Apple), USB-C, and Micro USB, so you can charge most phones and small electronics (e.g. cameras, earbuds).
How long does it take to fully charge my device?
Most phones reach full charge within about 60–90 minutes, depending on the device and battery size.
How many full charges can I get from one power bank?
A single Sinergi power bank typically provides up to around two full charges for a smartphone.
How do I check how much battery is left in the power bank?
The power bank has a light indicator (on the side or top) showing the current charge level.
Can I charge two devices at the same time?
Yes, if the power bank has multiple ports. Charging two devices at once may be slower than charging one.
Stations and availability
What if the station has no power banks available?
Use the map in the app or on our website to find another Sinergi station nearby. Stations are restocked regularly.
What if there are no empty slots to return the power bank?
You can return to any other Sinergi station. If you cannot return immediately, you will be charged according to our rates until return; the daily cap (e.g. AUD 30) applies as set out in our rates section.
What if the station is not working?
Report it via the feedback option in the app or our Contact page. In the meantime, use another Sinergi station to rent or return.

How do I request a refund or dispute a charge?
Contact us as soon as possible (e.g. within 10 days of the transaction) via our Contact page or app feedback. Include your registered email, payment date, and a short description of the issue.
